In many religions and legends birds play a special role as flying messenger and mediator between unreachable (spiritual) worlds and the earthbound humans. To shit on human arrogance is referring to these tales but also puts it in a contemporary context. A man is getting lost in an attempt to communicate with and via crows. His spiritual intentions lead to an insoluble conflict with the (rational) limits of anthropocentric perception and interaction with other species.
The work has been shown at Galerie Nocube in Münster, Germany and at Studio im Hochhaus in Berlin.
