SCULPTURE, SITE-SPECIFIC INSTALLATION

One of the two towers of the 15th century baroque castle ‘Ringenberg‘ in Hamminkeln, Germany, was dressed up with an exact fitted red and white football cap. The name of the German club ‘1 FC Köln‘ was written with 2m high letters on the castle. The use of colours refer to the football club as well as to the historic colours that can be found in and outside the castle (ceiling paintings, shutters)

The temporary installation was made in the scope of panicroom, organised by the Derik - Baegert - Society in Hamminkeln, district Wesel, Germany, 25th April - 6th august 2004.
