SITE-SPECIFIC INSTALLATION
Three white doves are sitting on a traffic light. With every colour appearing on the traffic light a pair of doves- eyes starts glowing powerfully in the same colour, looking down to the drivers.
The doves were placed at a junction in Hoofddorp, a little city close to Amsterdam. The citycenter with a few historic buildings (including three churches) is well-known for iets shopping facilities which are used by a wide area around.
The work was made in the scope of ‘Pionèri con tutti’, an art -manifestation in Hoofddorp, including temporary works in the public space, 27th April - 30th June 2002
